PrestaShop is another free, open source eCommerce platform. PestaShop was officially launched in August, 2007 and is available under the "Open Software License". PrestaShop is based on "PHP" and "Smarty template engine" and supports payment gateways such as Google Checkout, DirecPay, Authorize.Net, PayPal, EBANX Checkout and Skrill via their respective APIs. Other payment gateways are offered commercially. PrestaShop is currently used by about 165,000 shops worldwide.
